Akima Facilities Operations (AFO) seeks a Cost Estimator to support post-Hurricane Lowell facility repair efforts in Honolulu, Hawaii. You will develop and validate government-ready cost estimates, analyze scoping, and inform priorities and contractor execution.

You will review drawings, specs, and quantity takeoffs, perform labor, material, equipment and subcontractor estimates, and maintain IGCEs and cost databases. AFO offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of construction cost estimating experience.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and scopes of work.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Federal/DoD or government cost estimation processes (IGCEs) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop detailed cost estimates for facility repairs, restoration and construction activities.
• Prepare estimates using field assessments, drawings, specs, scopes of work, and quantity takeoffs.
• Develop labor, material, equipment, subcontractor and indirect cost estimates.
