Job summary

LevelBlue’s New York City office seeks a Cyber Security Lab Technician to join the DFIR team on-site. You will perform forensic imaging, evidence documentation, and intake, contributing to client investigations and data preservation.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in IT/Cyber Security (or equivalent) and familiarity with standard forensic tools. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and coordinate with a skilled team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT or cybersecurity.
• Experience with industry-standard data collection tools preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel; browser skills.

Responsibilities

• Forensic analysis, imaging and documentation, intake of client property.
• Maintain chain of custody and secure storage of evidence.
• Assist forensic examiners by conducting analyses.
• Maintain proficiency with industry standard tools.
• Lab management and administrative tasks for the DF lab.
• Support on-site lab operations and equipment connectivity.
