Zusammenfassung

Prestige Fleet Services seeks experienced Diesel/Trailer Technicians to perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers at customer sites or on-site locations. You will manage maintenance procedures, order parts, and complete DOT forms with accuracy.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of diesel and trailer repair experience preferred.
• Communication skills required.
• Ability to work extended or irregular hours including weekends and holidays.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Self-motivated with good organization and planning.
• Experience using a computer/tablet for electronic work orders.
• 2 years of federal inspections and brake inspections experience.
• 2 years of truck/trailer maintenance experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must possess proper tools.

Aufgaben

• Perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers (brakes, diagnostics, A/C, electrical, engine components, exhaust, after-treatment, lift-gates, tires).
• Schedule and oversee maintenance procedures including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Repair/replace vehicle/trailer components.
• Open and close repair orders on company device.
• Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory on service truck.
• Accurately complete DOT forms and other documentation promptly.
