Job summary

Prestige Fleet Services in El Paso, TX is seeking experienced diesel and trailer technicians to join our on-site maintenance team. You’ll perform repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers, using mobile service tools at customer locations when needed.

Strong mechanical skills, DOT knowledge, and the ability to work flexible hours are essential for keeping fleets on the road.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of diesel and trailer repair experience preferred.
• Communication skills and ability to work flexible hours.
• Valid Driver’s License and basic computer skills.
• 2 years of experience in annual federal and brake inspections.
• Must possess proper tools and be self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers.
• Schedule and oversee maintenance procedures, including DOT inspections.
• Repair/replace vehicle and trailer components.
• Open/close repair orders and manage parts inventory.
• Complete DOT forms and related documentation promptly.
