Job summary

The Cummins Inc. On-Site Resident Diesel Technician/Mechanic in Mesa, AZ, supports a single customer by diagnosing and completing repairs at the customer site.

You will handle engine repairs in a service environment, perform maintenance using diagnostic tools, and maintain thorough records of serviced vehicles. Role requires adherence to health, safety and environmental policies, and ongoing development of Cummins products through certifications.

Qualifications

• Apprentice Certified Power Generation or Engine Technician (Preferred).
• Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution.
• Current relevant electrical certification (optional).
• Locally valid driving permit.
• Basic level field service work experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of and/or experience with power generation or engine products.
• High Voltage/ Low Voltage experience (optional).
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop.
• Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools.
• Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles.
• Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies.
• Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products.
• Maintain own tools.
