Qualifications

• Apprentice Trained Engine Technician with a vocational Diploma.
• Intermediate knowledge of engine products and repair work.
• Willingness to work in a service workshop on-site.

Responsibilities

• Completes diagnostics, repairs and rebuilds on engine products in a service workshop.
• Applies documented procedures to complete complex repairs and identifies required parts/tools.
• Disassembles, inspects, cleans and reassembles engines or components.
• Performs preventative maintenance based on engine assessment.
• Completes required documentation in service systems.
• Maintains clean and safe work area and uses tools properly.
• Adheres to health, safety and environmental policies.
• Assists senior technicians with diagnostics and repair plans.
• Uses Cummins publications and tools to diagnose and repair.
• Documents troubleshooting steps and repair results for payment/history.
