Prometheus Federal Services (PFS) is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for an on-site position at the VA Outpatient Clinic in Salem, Oregon. The role involves performing diagnostic ultrasound exams across multiple regions, operating high-frequency ultrasound equipment, and collaborating with radiologists to deliver high-quality imaging.

The incumbent will train Ultrasound students, manage patient prep, and ensure accurate documentation and image transfer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of current ultrasound experience including inpatient, ED or ICU settings.
• Active ARDMS certifications in abdomen/small parts and at least two others.
• BLS certification required by American Heart Association.

Responsabilités

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams across multiple body areas (abdomen, neck, chest, pelvis).
• Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust probes for optimal imaging.
• Coordinate with radiologists and clinicians for timely interpretation.
• Mentor ultrasound students and provide training as needed.
• Maintain equipment, prepare rooms, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
