Job summary

ARGO Cyber Systems in Arlington, VA, seeks a DevOps Engineer to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, manage IaC, and automate cloud provisioning for mission-critical operations.

You will collaborate with architects, implement monitoring, and contribute to security automation, with US citizenship, TS/SCI clearance, and DHS suitability required.

The role requires 3+ years in DevOps and strong AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes expertise.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with DHS suitability.
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, automation, or software engineering roles.
• Strong proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
• Experience with CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.).
• Expertise in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Knowledge of Git and version control best practices.
• Experience with AWS cloud services and APIs.
• Understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with configuration management and automation tools.
• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or High School diploma and 7+ years of directly relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated engagement kit deployment.
• Manage source control and code repositories for infrastructure configurations.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and scaling of cloud resources.
• Enhance kit capabilities through automation and optimization initiatives.
• Collaborate with architects and administrators to streamline deployment processes.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions.
• Support troubleshooting and performance optimization during active operations.
• Maintain version control and change management processes.
• Develop automation scripts and tools to reduce manual effort.
• Ensure consistency and repeatability across engagement kit deployments.
• Participate in security hardening and compliance automation efforts.
