Job summary

Expedition Technology is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our team and provide DevSecOps expertise across programs, including DoD and Intel Community customers. You will develop scalable, secure cloud-native CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with software engineers to implement automation and secure infrastructure.

You will work with Docker, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Terraform, CloudFormation, Packer, and IaC practices while ensuring compliance with security standards. A TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline preferred, or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
• A minimum of 3 years of related work experience
• Current active TS/SCI clearance, with ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph
• Hands-on experience building automated infrastructure and cloud-native apps deployed to a major cloud provider
• Experience with IaC and release engineering practices

Responsibilities

• Writing and reviewing Python code
• Container development and orchestration (Docker, Helm, Kubernetes/Rancher, ArgoCD)
• Develop and deploy DevSecOps capabilities in a multi-project, multi-team environment
• Understanding git workflows and release engineering approaches to software development
• Delivering infrastructure-as-code solutions using CloudFormation, Terraform, and/or Packer
• Troubleshooting Linux system networking, storage, and related services
• Develop automation for existing processes in a cloud environment using tools such as CloudFormation, Ansible, and Packer
• Building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.
• Working within the constraints of NIST 800-53, 800-171, CMMC, or related compliance policies
