Job summary

Ifas-LLC in Charleston, SC, is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist-DOS to provide on-site support for Windows desktops, Microsoft 365, and endpoint security in a mission-focused environment. You will deploy, configure, and troubleshoot workstation hardware, plus automate tasks with PowerShell, manage printers, and assist with structured cabling.

A Secret clearance eligibility is required. This role is 100% on-site with opportunities to work with government personnel and contractors to maintain

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience supporting Windows desktop environments in an enterprise setting.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 apps and services.
• PowerShell automation for desktop management and inventory tasks.
• Understanding of basic network connectivity and cabling.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
• Ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Eligibility to receive Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Image, configure, deploy, maintain, replace, and troubleshoot Windows desktops and laptops.
• Apply patches, monitor and remediate endpoint vulnerabilities and security issues.
• Install and troubleshoot approved third-party software.
• Support network printers and peripheral equipment.
• Diagnose issues and coordinate escalation when needed.
• Provide front-line technical support via ticketing systems and in-person interactions.
