Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a highly motivated Design-Build Construction Manager to lead field operations on large capital projects across the US. You will oversee the General Contractor, manage construction, commissioning, and closeout, and drive schedule performance with a team of engineers, PMs, and contractors.

You will work onsite with travel up to 75%, ensuring safety and quality while delivering projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of construction/administration experience on large projects.
• Experience managing firm-fixed-price projects.
• Knowledge of project planning, delivery methods, and building systems.
• Working knowledge of CPM scheduling software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
• CMAA and/or DBIA certifications are a plus.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 75% to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage contractors; supervise field operations and turnover to clients.
• Manage construction, commissioning, and closeout activities across projects.
• Track and optimize project schedules; coordinate with GC and design teams.
• Facilitate coordination meetings; minimize risks and resolve field issues.
• Ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery per contract.
