Servers.com in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Data Center Technician to join our on-site team. You will decommission hardware, manage data destruction, and maintain inventory while ensuring service uptime through hands-on hardware troubleshooting.

• Solid working knowledge of computer hardware.

• Basic operating system experience - Linux/Windows.

Responsibilities

• Decommissioning hardware.
• Destruction of data on reclaimed devices.
• Track inventory and maintain accurate recordkeeping.
• Test and troubleshoot hardware.
• Perform audits of datacenter infrastructure.
• Monitor tickets, chats, and alerts; provide initial hands-on response.
• Check IP status on RBLs and process as needed.
• Rack servers, install cabling, and assist with infrastructure needs.
• Deploy complex, highly available infrastructure and services.
