Core Scientific is seeking a Data Center Technician for an onsite role in Austin, TX to monitor power, cooling, and environmental conditions across our data centers. You will respond to incidents and manage workflow to ensure timely completion while adhering to safety policies.
Responsibilities include leveraging CMMS and BMS data to assess infrastructure health, coordinating preventive maintenance, and documenting procedures and metrics for internal and customer transparency.

Data Center Technician will monitor and manage power, cooling capacity, and environmental conditions in the data center. Act as a first responder to incidents that arise within the data center envelope. This position will manage workflow for planned and unplanned data center work to ensure timely completion and ensure processes adhere to federal and local safety laws and policies.

This position operates in a data center environment. This role routinely utilizes standard data center equipment, including laptop computers, smartphones, voltmeters, scissor lifts, forklifts, ladders, screwdrivers, and other hand tools. While performing these duties, the employee will be exposed to hot and cold environments.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, and lift up to 50 pounds.
