Job summary

Reboot Monkey is seeking a Data Center Technician in Auburn, United States for a full-time, on-site role. You will support critical infrastructure at world-class data center facilities and collaborate with engineering and operations teams.

The position emphasizes server/network maintenance, structured cabling, and capacity planning, with certifications (CDCP, CDCS, CDCE) preferred and vendor certs (Dell, HPE, Cisco) valued. Health, PTO, and development allowances are included.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of data center operations experience.
• Expert cabling skills with Cat6/6a and OM3/OM4/OS2 fiber.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation abilities.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in demanding environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber).
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate documentation and asset tracking.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
• Participate in capacity planning and upgrades.
