Job summary

Salute is seeking a Data Center Technical Trainer to design, implement, and manage comprehensive technical training programs for our on-site Barstow, TX team. You will coordinate onboarding, maintain certification records, and ensure training aligns with OSHA, NFPA, and client requirements.

The role requires 3+ years in technical training within data centers, strong LMS skills, and excellent presentation and organizational abilities. On-site schedule with potential evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field and relevant training experience.
• Experience designing, coordinating, and delivering technical training in data centers or mission-critical environments.
• Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, ASHRAE, and Uptime Institute standards; strong LMS usage and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive training programs for data center operations.
• Coordinate onboarding, competency assessments, and certification management.
• Create materials, assessments, and curricula aligned with current technologies and safety standards.
• Deliver instructor-led, virtual, and hands-on training; track participation and outcomes.
• Collaborate with site leadership and clients to align training with requirements.
• Monitor training effectiveness and drive continuous improvement; maintain records and compliance.
