Job summary

KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to support a large-scale data center construction project in Turkey, Texas. This hands-on role focuses on coordinating documentation, schedules, procurement, and field operations between project managers, superintendents, vendors, and subcontractors.

You will manage drawings, submittals, RFIs, and cost tracking, while helping keep the project on schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, engineering, or project coordination.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced site.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with RFIs, submittals, drawings, and cost tracking is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support project managers and field leadership with daily data center construction activities.
• Maintain drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, schedules, and meeting records.
• Coordinate RFIs, submittals, and drawing revisions with stakeholders.
• Track schedules, milestones, procurement, materials, and deliverables.
• Coordinate information between managers, superintendents, field personnel, vendors, subcontractors.
• Assist with material tracking and procurement delivery concerns.
• Support cost tracking, change documentation, forecasting, and project controls.
• Prepare updates, logs, reports, and supporting documentation.
• Review project information for accuracy; identify missing data.
• Communicate concerns to project leadership.
• Help ensure action items are completed on time.
