Job summary

A leading education institution in Green Bay, WI is seeking a Computer Operator to provide first and second level support for their business services and data center infrastructure. Responsibilities include system monitoring, problem resolution, and enforcing data center security. Ideal candidates should possess an Associate degree or equivalent work experience along with basic experience in Microsoft Operating Systems and Office Suites. Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
• Basic experience with Microsoft Operating Systems and Office Suites.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts and skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system events and recognize abnormal system activity across multiple platforms.
• Provide problem resolution and escalation to higher level IT support when needed.
• Monitor and enforce data center security.
• Assist with batch job scheduling and production-control-related tasks.
• Provide hardware support and print I/O functions.
• Communicate incident identification, status, key action steps and other relevant information to designated stakeholders.
