Vanguard Maintenance and Electrical, Inc. is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to partner on-site with our data center operations in Lubbock, TX.

This mid-level role handles recruitment, employee relations, benefits, compliance, and performance management in a 24/7, mission-critical setting. You will collaborate with site managers and a field-based technical workforce, implementing HR programs with autonomy and accountability while ensuring Texas employment law compliance and data-driven HR

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of progressive HR experience across multiple HR functions.
• Experience supporting field-based, technical, or trades workforces in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Professional certification: SHRM-CP or PHR (preferred).
• Familiarity with Texas employment law and multi-site HR operations.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment & onboarding for technical and operational roles at a data center site.
• Benefits administration, open enrollment, and vendor coordination.
• Employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution.
• Performance management cycles and coaching for site managers.
• HR records administration and regulatory compliance.
