Job summary

AI infrastructure exposure is a plus, but core data center expertise is essential. The position involves server builds, maintenance, troubleshooting, and collaboration with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in data center, field service, or enterprise server support.
• Hands-on server hardware installation and troubleshooting.
• Experience with server builds, swaps, deployments, and replacements.
• Familiar with Linux operating systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support for enterprise server and data center environments.
• Perform server installations, hardware upgrades, replacements, and repairs.
• Troubleshoot hardware, firmware, and operating system issues.
• Replace and configure server components, including CPUs, memory, power supplies, GPUs, and complete server systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to hardware failures to minimize downtime.
• Follow established support procedures and escalation processes.
• Document all service activities and technical findings accurately.
• Collaborate with customers and internal support teams to resolve issues efficiently.
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support as needed.
