Job summary

E Tech Group in San Jose, CA seeks a Construction Safety Manager to lead site safety, train teams, and ensure compliance with regulations. You will develop project safety plans, conduct risk assessments, run safety trainings, and coordinate with subcontractors.

Ideal candidates have CHST/ASP/CSP, 5+ years in safety, OSHA 510 and NFPA 70E credentials, and strong collaboration skills. On-site reporting and 8+ miles walking per day are common; salary ranges $130K–$150K plus full benefits.

Qualifications

• CHST/ASP/CSP certification required or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of construction safety experience.
• First Aid, Narcan, Bloodborne Pathogens, CPR and AED training.
• OSHA 510 certification and NFPA 70E knowledge.
• Experience with Safetymojo, BIM 360 and Procore.
• Ability to walk long distances and lift 25 lbs; team player.

Responsibilities

• Develop site and project safety plans with training programs.
• Conduct hazard analysis and risk mitigation planning.
• Coordinate safety trainings with contractors and GC.
• Submit weekly safety reports and lead safety committee meetings.
• Investigate injuries and assist root cause analyses.
• Promote E Tech Group core values and teamwork.
