Job summary

E Tech Group in San Jose, CA is seeking an on-site Construction Manager to lead the installation phase of data center projects, coordinating with General and Subcontractors and our internal team to meet deadlines and budgets. You will oversee subcontractor scopes, develop labor and quality plans, manage costs, and maintain client communications, while delivering safe, reliable infrastructure.

A BS in engineering and 10 years in construction or project management are required, with experience in

Qualifications

• BS Engineering degree or equivalent educational background.
• 10 years in project and/or construction management environment.
• Experience in industrial controls for data centers, building management, consumer products, automotive, food & beverage, process industries, energy management, or similar.
• Experience in building construction and the managing of subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation of subcontractor scope on Data Center projects.
• Deliver installation on time and under budget as defined by the Lead Project Manager.
• Communicate with client and subcontractors through the Lead Project Manager.
• Develop project labor resource and quality control plans to meet schedule and budget objectives.
• Maintain scope control and ensure Change Orders are defined and communicated.
• Develop and maintain project cost budgets and reports; manage estimated cost at completion, earned value, and contingency.
• Collaborate with Operations to assign resources and report progress; advocate for the project team.
