Job summary

Heyco, a PennEngineering company, is seeking a Customer Service Representative for an on-site role in Toms River, NJ. The position handles orders, pricing, and inquiries, coordinating with multiple teams to ensure timely delivery.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and 1+ year experience, with strong communication and organizational skills. The role offers a base pay of $20/hour plus a quarterly bonus, with benefits and opportunities for growth within the engineering/manufacturing

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1+ years of relevant experience.
• Comfortable with computers and standard office systems.
• Excellent listening, verbal, and phone communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and reliable attendance.
• Sound judgment and problem-solving in standardized situations.
• Ability to read and follow written procedures, safety rules, and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer orders and inquiries via phone, fax, and email with speed and accuracy.
• Open new accounts and maintain customer information in IQMS.
• Provide rate quotes and pricing information.
• Resolve customer complaints, billing questions, shipping discrepancies, and RMAs.
• Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Accounting, Shipping, Quality Control, Lab, and Engineering to keep orders moving.
• Coordinate foreign sales and services, including export documentation, NAFTA paperwork, and Country of Origin certificates.
• Build strong relationships with customers and distributors.
• Flag product complaints to supervisor for fast action.
