Job summary

Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES) seeks a Customer Service Representative 3 to join the Field Office team in Casa Grande. You will interpret and apply program rules for NA, TANF, MA, and state programs, working with various computer systems in a busy in-person environment.

Under minimal supervision, you will assist customers, provide guidance on self-service options, and ensure accurate data entry and document uploads.

Qualifications

• Direct customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to explain policies and procedures clearly.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in a fast-paced face-to-face setting and enter data in systems.
• Determine steps to follow in standard work to route inquiries.
• Provide guidance on self-service options and resolve issues.
• Interact professionally with customers, including challenging ones.
• Provide case status updates and upload documents to online accounts.
• Submit changes and verify information received from customers.
• Research policies to resolve complex eligibility questions.
• Issue EBT cards following established procedures.
