Job summary

Kualoa Ranch Hawai‘i is seeking a Custodian to support upkeep and cleanliness of facilities, ensuring a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for guests, tenants, and staff.

The role involves janitorial duties, restroom sanitation, floor care, waste removal, and minor maintenance tasks. Ideal candidates are dependable, able to work independently, and provide excellent guest service.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Prior janitorial, custodial, or facilities maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and reliability.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with guests and tenants.
• Ability to lift and carry 50–75 lbs and perform physical labor in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect restrooms, locker rooms, and public areas throughout the day.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all assigned interior and exterior areas.
• Empty waste containers and replace liners in designated locations.
• Clean windows, doors, and other high-touch surfaces.
• Perform light maintenance and general repair work as assigned.
• Replenish restroom supplies and report inventory needs.
• Support event setup, cleanup, and other facilities-related tasks.
• Provide friendly and respectful customer service to guests and residents.
