Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an On-Site CSA Engineer for a project near Baton Rouge, LA. The role serves as the on-site representative for civil, structural, and architectural disciplines throughout construction, coordinating between Owner, Contractor, and design teams and supporting field activities.

You will lead site walks, resolve design issues, review drawings and specifications, and provide weekly observation reports while coordinating with QA/QC, commissioning, and Owner representatives to mitigate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
• 10+ years in large-scale commercial, industrial, or data center construction.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary on-site CSA design and construction contact.
• Perform daily site walks to monitor progress and quality.
• Coordinate design issues between field teams and consultants.
• Review field conditions and provide timely design clarifications.
• Support RFIs, submittals, and field inquiries.
• Review installation activities for conformance with specs.
• Provide weekly site observation reports with risks and mitigations.
• Support BIM coordination and site validation activities.
• Coordinate with QA/QC, commissioning, and Owner reps.
