Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an On-Site CSA Engineer for a project near Baton Rouge, LA. The role focuses on coordinating civil, structural, and architectural disciplines during construction and serving as the on-site liaison among Owner, Contractor, and design teams.

The engineer will review field conditions, resolve design issues, support RFI responses, and ensure work aligns with contract documents. Strong communication and field leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a civil/structural or related field.
• 10+ years in large-scale commercial, industrial, or data center construction.
• Experience reviewing drawings, specs, and docs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site point of contact for CSA design and construction.
• Perform daily site walks to monitor progress, quality, and constructability.
• Coordinate CSA design issues between field teams and consultants.
• Review field conditions and provide timely design clarifications.
• Support RFIs, submittals, substitutions, and field inquiries.
• Review installation activities for conformance with design intent.
• Provide weekly site observation reports with risks and recommendations.
• Support BIM coordination, mockups, and site validation.
