Job summary

Saulsbury Industries in Abernathy, TX is seeking a Craft Recruiter to support project staffing for industrial crafts in a field-office environment. The role reports to the HR Manager and/or Project Manager, focusing on full-cycle recruitment and strong collaboration with managers to meet staffing needs.

You will implement diverse-talent initiatives, track staffing metrics, and maintain effective communication with candidates and hiring managers to ensure timely interviews and placement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial craft/trades staffing related to the oil and gas industry, construction, engineering or related fields.
• Ability to work on site in field office environment.
• Strong understanding and ability to recruit at all levels of the organization from entry level positions to journeyman and field supervisory level positions
• Excellent inter-personal skills, communication skills and team based project experience
• Clear understanding of the recruitment lifecycle process
• Understanding of applicable laws regarding employment selection
• Strong time management skills
• Strong experienced in recruiting through the use of social medial (LinkedIn, job boards,) a must
• Ability to meet the attendance and punctuality requirements
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office and in depth knowledge of data mining and internet research
• Experience in general HR functions is preferred

General Information/Job Summary

Reporting to the HR Manager and/or Project Manager, the Craft Recruiter is responsible for supplementing the craft/trades staffing efforts in accordance with project manpower and company needs. Also responsible for maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and service providers, as well as successfully filling roles for the projects.
