Job summary

EnergyLink Sourcing, LLC is seeking a Corporate Counsel to join our Houston-based team on-site. You will lead commercial negotiations, draft master supply and supplier agreements, and collaborate with Procurement, EPC, and Finance to structure optimized contracts for major energy projects.

The role requires a JD, active Texas bar eligibility, and 3–5 years of experience in corporate contracting. You will advise on regulatory compliance, international trade, and supplier issues while advancing

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with a U.S. state bar.
• 3–5 years of legal experience in a law firm, corporate legal department, or combination of both.
• Strong experience drafting and negotiating commercial, supplier, vendor, or customer agreements.
• Working knowledge of procurement-related regulatory and compliance matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial negotiations and draft/ negotiate master supply agreements, supplier and customer contracts, purchase orders, NDAs, amendments, and terms.
• Support procurement and EPC operations with structured agreements for complex energy projects.
• Identify contractual, commercial, and regulatory risks and develop practical solutions to keep business moving.
• Advise on international trade, tariffs, sanctions, export controls, anti-corruption, and supplier compliance requirements.
• Provide legal guidance on supplier performance, contract disputes, and commercial claims.
• Develop contract templates, negotiation playbooks, and approval workflows to improve efficiency.
• Translate complex legal matters into clear, actionable recommendations for business stakeholders.
• Strengthen legal operations, supplier risk management, and commercial contracting practices.
