Job summary

Friona Industries LP in Amarillo, TX seeks a Corporate Controller to lead all corporate accounting and financial reporting. This full-time, on-site role supervises the general ledger, month-end and year-end close, and coordinates audits with external auditors.

You will drive budgeting and forecasting, cash flow management, variance analysis, and deliver financial insights to senior leadership to support strategic decisions. CPA preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong financial accounting skills with GAAP knowledge and general ledger management.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cash flow management.
• Proficiency with accounting ERP systems and advanced Excel.
• Experience with internal controls, audits, and regulatory compliance.
• Leadership and people management with cross-functional collaboration.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Experience as Controller or senior accounting role in agriculture/manufacturing or similar complex environment beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger, month-end and year-end close processes.
• Coordinate audits with external auditors and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
• Provide financial insights to senior leadership for strategic decisions.
• Develop accounting policies and implement process improvements.
