Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a Corporate Finance Manager to join its Corporate office in Dallas. This role will oversee General Ledger entries for multiple profit centers and support the Controller during the monthly close cycle.

The position requires a CPA or Master’s degree preferred and at least three years of accounting experience in a job costing environment, with strong Excel and JD Edwards skills. The incumbent will coordinate with locations, ensure timely data flow, and support SOX

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA or Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum three years of accounting experience in a job costing environment.
• Knowledge of JD Edwards accounting systems; work order systems strongly preferred.
• Strong Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP) strongly preferred.
• Understanding of GAAP and SOX compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly General Ledger journal entries.
• Maintain and reconcile supporting schedules for journal entries.
• Lead training and support of personnel at each location on accounting functions.
• Prepare and reconcile monthly, quarterly, and annual post-close reports for the parent company.
• Reconcile and maintain schedules for monthly intercompany entries.
• Support annual financial and SOX audits and related information requests.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure proper and timely data flow to Accounting.
• Support ABM Electrical Power Solutions policies and procedures.
