Job summary

AOC Formulations is seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, team-driven Accountant to join the Accounting/Finance team at our corporate site in Collierville, TN. The role supports the Americas close, posts journal entries, prepares reconciliations and analyzes general ledger activity within a JSOX control framework.

The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of accounting principles, 0-2 years of relevant experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field required.
• 0-2 years of corporate accounting or public accounting; audit experience preferred.
• CPA candidate or interest in pursuing CPA certification preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, or similar ERP systems; familiarity with consolidation tools such as OneStream/Hyperion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Prepare, document, and post manual and Oracle-system journal entries; ensure accuracy and proper period recording.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and maintain supporting documentation.
• Analyze general ledger activity to identify unusual items and necessary adjustments.
• Coordinate with global finance for intercompany entries and close activities.
• Assist with audits and provide schedules and documentation as needed.
