Job summary

AOC is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Accounting/Finance team in Piperton, TN. This role supports monthly close, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, collaborating with the Americas teams and plant controllers.

A strong accounting foundation, ERP experience, and attention to detail are essential for success. The position involves on-site work five days a week and interaction with cross-functional partners to provide financial insights and drive performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field required.
• 3-5 years of experience in corporate accounting, public accounting (audit), or FP&A.
• CPA certification or CPA candidate preferred.
• Experience with Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, or similar ERP systems preferred.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be willing and able to work on-site in office 5 days/week.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Review journal entries and reconciliations for accuracy and compliance with policies and controls (JSOX).
• Manage our customer rebate program including setup, accruals, and quarterly reviews with sales and finance.
• Oversee Americas lease accounting per IFRS 16 and coordinate with procurement and finance teams.
• Support preparation of financial statements and management reporting schedules.
• Support internal and external audits with schedules and documentation.
