Job summary

Colectivo is seeking a Content Specialist to bring its coffee, food, drinks, cafes and culture to life through video, photography and written storytelling. This in-office role is based in Milwaukee with regular travel to cafes in Milwaukee, Madison and Chicago.

You will own day-to-day content creation for social media, app, website, emails and retailer channels, while maintaining the brand voice and calendar. Collaboration and fast-paced execution are essential traits for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related field.
• 2–4 years of professional experience in social media, content creation or a related role.
• Strong portfolio of original work demonstrating creativity, visual storytelling and short-form video and photography.
• Strong working knowledge of Instagram, TikTok and Facebook with platform trends.
• Hands-on experience filming, photographing, and editing content from start to finish.
• Strong copywriting skills and ability to adapt voice across channels.
• Excellent organization and collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, collaborative approach; comfortable in a growing brand.

Responsibilities

• Develop, capture and edit original video, photography and written content for brand across channels.
• Ideate and publish short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and emerging platforms.
• Create and update content for app, website, emails, product pages and retailer channels.
• Write and edit copy for email, social media, website, packaging and signage.
• Collaborate on content calendar, pillars and channel plans.
• Adapt content for each platform and stay current with trends.
• Track content performance and use insights to improve future creative.
• Coordinate influencer partnerships and manage brand ambassador program.
