Job summary

Midwest Foods is seeking a part-time photographer/videographer to capture farm-to-plate stories and manage social content. You will shoot and edit photos and short-form videos for Instagram and LinkedIn, write captions, and help shape campaigns with the marketing team.

The role involves on-site work in Chicago/Kenosha, flexibility around events, and direct collaboration with the Director of Marketing & PR. A portfolio is required with application.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of content creation, social media, photography, or related field.
• Strong photography skills; videography/editing experience preferred.
• Portfolio of past work required with application.

Responsibilities

• Shoot and style photos and short-form video of produce, foods, events, and behind-the-scenes moments.
• Edit and deliver polished assets for Instagram, LinkedIn, and other channels.
• Capture real-time content at events and activations.
• Organize and upload assets to shared folders for team access.
• Create content across Midwest Foods' social channels (Instagram and LinkedIn).
• Write captions and copy that fit brand voice and seasonal priorities.
• Build and maintain a social content calendar.
• Handle community engagement and real-time event coverage.
• Collaborate on shot lists, content direction, and campaigns.
• Gain visibility into how content connects to broader marketing strategy.
