Job summary

Colectivo Coffee is seeking a Content Specialist to bring its cafe culture to life through video, photography, and engaging copy. You will manage content across social platforms, apps, websites, and campaigns, while maintaining the brand voice and a robust content calendar.

This in-office role requires travel between Milwaukee cafes and related locations. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in social content creation, a strong portfolio, and hands-on video/photography skills, plus excellent

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or a related field and 2–4 years of professional experience in social media, content creation or a related role.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, visual storytelling, and advanced short-form video and photography skills; food/beverage content preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, including trends, tools and best practices.
• Hands-on experience developing concepts, filming, photographing and editing polished content end-to-end.
• Strong copywriting skills and ability to adapt voice across channels.
• Excellent organization, project management, communication and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Develop, capture and edit original video, photography and written content for internal and external channels.
• Ideate, capture, edit and publish short-form video and photo content for social platforms.
• Create and update content and digital assets for app, website, emails and retailer channels.
• Serve as a key copywriter for email, social media, website, packaging and signage.
• Collaborate to build and maintain content calendar and channel plans.
• Adapt content for each platform and stay current on trends.
