Job summary

SERVPRO of Columbia County is seeking a Construction Superintendent to oversee day-to-day construction project management, ensuring high-quality service for customers, clients, subcontractors, and team members involved in restoration projects.

Responsibilities include punch-list resolution, customer walkthroughs, COS acquisition, project updates, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with plans, codes, and scope. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong customer service track record.
• Good written and oral communication.
• Basic math skills.
• Experience in restoration or construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Compile and resolve punch list items.
• Perform intermittent walkthroughs with customer.
• Secure a signed Certificate of Satisfaction from customer (COS).
• Provide project updates to customers and clients as directed.
• Schedule subcontractors and material suppliers.
• Ensure work complies with plans, codes, and scope requirements.
• Document project activities and daily progress.
• Maintain quality standards via site inspections.
• Evaluate and rate vendors and subcontractors.
• Coordinate inspections with jurisdictions and Project Managers.
• Ensure subcontractors complete work per purchase orders.
• Maintain job schedules and progress.
• Submit and complete ITEL report.
