Job summary

D.R. Horton in Sewickley is looking for an Assistant Superintendent to assist in managing community job sites for home construction. The role involves scheduling and supervising subcontractors, maintaining standards, and ensuring customer satisfaction during all phases of construction.

Qualifications

• Six months to 2 years of related experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Inspect each home daily to assure the quality of workmanship.
• Schedule homeowner orientation and additional walks to ensure satisfaction.
• Enforce the site safety program and subcontractor compliance.

Skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to read plans and construction documents

Commitment to customer satisfaction

Education

High school diploma or GED

Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college preferred

Proficiency with MS Office and email
