Job summary

Dean Snyder Construction Co. seeks a Superintendent to direct daily construction activities, supervise crews and subcontractors, and keep projects on schedule.

The role requires coordinating with project managers, owners, architects, engineers, and vendors while upholding safety and OSHA compliance. The Superintendent will manage staffing, reviewing specifications, and developing three-week look-ahead schedules.

Qualifications

• Eight years of construction and equipment operation experience, with 2 years in lead roles.
• Ability to coordinate, schedule, and delegate tasks across crews.
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR as per company policy.
• Experience reading blueprints and engineering plans.
• Commitment to safety, OSHA guidelines, and on-site safety leadership.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily activities of construction crews and supervise projects over $1M.
• Develop three-week look-ahead schedules and coordinate with PMs, architects, engineers and subcontractors.
• Maintain project on schedule and within budget; monitor staffing and material needs.
• Conduct on-site safety and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Attend progress meetings with project manager and owner/customers.
