Job summary

Boaz Construction, a design-forward boutique builder in Indianapolis, seeks a Project Superintendent for full-time, on-site management of commercial and residential projects.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in this field, strong communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to read complex blueprints. Must be US-qualified with a valid driver's license; Proficiency in Excel/Word is required. PlanSwift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial and residential construction experience
• Previous construction management experience
• Must be qualified to work in the United States
• Valid state driver's license
• Familiarity with PlanSwift Estimating Software a plus

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction efforts at a specific worksite
• Coordinate subcontractors on the job site
• Follow up with subcontractors to ensure completion of work
• Attend and implement project progress meetings
• Ensure the project proceeds on schedule and meets deadlines
• Manage self-performed scopes of work on the project
• Troubleshoot daily issues and provide safe solutions
• Ensure compliance with codes to prevent fines
• Track cost analysis to beat project budgets
• Facilitate communication between management, client, and subcontractors
• Identify long-lead items and procure them timely
• Identify the project's critical path and navigate it
• Schedule delivery of materials and labor requests
• Prepare materials and information for subcontractors to explain clearly
