The Staff Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Pittsburgh, PA, focusing on day-to-day accounting, AP/AR, and project-related financial reporting for construction operations. You will work closely with project managers and leadership to provide timely financial information, support job costing, and contribute to ongoing process improvements and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
Experience with GAAP and basic tax concepts.
Experience with AP/AR processes, including invoice processing and vendor/customer account management.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, and ability to collaborate with project teams, leadership, and external partners.

Responsibilities

Handle day-to-day accounting activities including processing accounts payable and receivable.
Reconcile bank and account balances and support project-related financial reporting for construction operations.
Assist with job costing and provide timely, accurate financial information to project managers and leadership.
Support continuous improvement of accounting processes and internal controls in line with GAAP.
