Job summary

Environmental and Safety Solutions Inc. is seeking a Construction Safety Associate for a large OH-based project. The role focuses on maintaining a strong field safety presence, conducting regular walkthroughs and audits to ensure OSHA compliance, and working with site leadership to implement corrective actions.

Local candidates are preferred; per diem is available for non-locals. The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of construction safety management experience, excellent writing and computer

Qualifications

• OSHA 510 preferred or equivalent safety credentials.
• Local to the project is preferred; per diem available if not local.
• 5–7 years of construction safety management experience.
• Ability to start the project as soon as possible.
• Strong writing and computer skills; excellent communication (written & verbal).

Responsibilities

• Maintain a strong field presence (90%+ of time) to monitor job site safety conditions and behaviors.
• Conduct daily site walkthroughs, inspections, and audits to ensure OSHA compliance and site safety requirements.
• Identify hazards, assess risks, and implement corrective actions in real time.
• Partner with superintendents, foremen, and subcontractors to promote a proactive safety culture.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, and pre-task planning sessions.
