Job summary

D7 Pneumatics LLC is seeking an On-Site Health and Safety Officer to implement, monitor, and improve safety programs across our project sites. You will conduct inspections, lead toolbox talks, and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations while promoting a culture of safety among employees and contractors.

Responsibilities include investigating incidents, maintaining documentation, coordinating emergency plans, and serving as the primary safety contact for management.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of proven experience in a Health and Safety role, preferably in construction or industrial environments.
• Ability to travel to job sites throughout the country over an extended period.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• OSHA 30hr Construction Industry certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of on-site operations to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
• Develop and implement safety protocols, emergency response plans, and risk assessments.
• Provide on-site safety training, toolbox talks, and safety orientations for employees and contractors.
• Observe workers to ensure appropriate use of personal protection equipment is being implemented.
• Investigate and report incidents, near misses, and safety violations, recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation on safety programs, training records, and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for safety-related matters and coordinate with management to promote continuous improvement.
