Job summary

EPI Power is hiring a Project Safety Manager to join our team in Boydton, VA. The role provides site safety leadership, develops safety plans, conducts audits, and investigates incidents on the assigned project.

The position requires 6 days per week (58 hours) and reporting to the Project Manager. EPI Power is a subsidiary of The Weitz Company, focusing on data center construction with a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction safety experience
• OSHA 30 certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Participate in the creation of the project safety plan
• Track and trend project safety performance and recommend corrective measures
• Verify project team adherence to safety management processes
• Assist project teams with enforcement of safety programs and meeting with managers
• Coordinate and communicate site safety activities with the Project Manager
• Conduct project safety inspections and oversee incident investigations
• Ensure employees have authority to stop unsafe work and follow up on actions
