Job summary

EPI Power is hiring a Project Safety Manager to lead site safety on the Cedar Rapids project. You will implement company safety standards, provide training, support preconstruction planning, and conduct jobsite safety audits and incident investigations.

This role requires a 58-hour week (6 days, Monday–Saturday) and a strong ability to lead safety initiatives across the project team. EPI Power is a subsidiary of The Weitz Company focusing on data-center electrical construction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction safety experience.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the creation of the project safety plan.
• Track and trend project safety performance and recommend corrective measures.
• Verify project team adherence to safety management processes.
• Assist with enforcement of safety programs, including letters and meetings.
• Coordinate and facilitate project safety committees.
• Lead preconstruction safety planning and training.
• Ensure regulatory safety compliance and audits.
• Encourage safety innovation across the project team.
