Brayman Construction Corporation in Baltimore, MD is seeking a full-time Area Safety Representative to join our growing team and support projects across the Baltimore–Washington corridor and beyond.

The role focuses on promoting a proactive safety culture, conducting employee orientations, delivering site safety training, and enforcing compliance with OSHA and company policies. Travel to multiple job sites is required, with competitive benefits and a company vehicle provided.

Qualifications

• 3+ years safety experience in general construction, preferably civil infrastructure/heavy highway.
• Willingness to travel to job sites in different states.
• Bachelor's degree in safety or risk management or related field; 30-hour OSHA Construction Safety class or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Conduct new employee orientations and ensure compliance with site drug testing program.
• Develop and conduct training at projects, including fall protection, confined space, PPE, first aid/CPR, signal person, Hazard Communication.
• Write, review and modify site-specific safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure jobsite compliance with Federal, State, Local Regulations and Corporate Policies.
• Lead incident investigations and document findings; develop lessons learned to prevent recurrence.
• Perform job site safety inspections (tools, cords, hazards, etc.).
• Inspect, order, and administer PPE training.
