Job summary

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a college/university program in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or related field with at least 1 year of completed education.
• Basic knowledge of safety and environmental principles and techniques.
• Desire to work in construction management and to learn about the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing safety programs and loss control on construction projects or office locations.
• Identify and report safety violations or unsafe practices, focusing on imminent hazards.
• Coordinate safety duties for safety committees, preplanning meetings, and toolbox talks.
• Assist with training at safety meetings, toolbox talks, and orientations.
• Review subcontractor safety programs for compliance with company policies and regulations.
