Job summary

HazTek Safety Management is seeking a Safety Consultant/Auditor to operate out of and support clients primarily in the South Boston area. The role emphasizes ensuring safety best practices, regulatory compliance, and a strong safety culture on construction sites.

The consultant will travel to projects across the Greater Boston/Eastern Massachusetts area, review ongoing activities, and provide guidance to project supervisors to maintain compliance and safety performance.

Qualifications

Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA regulations and interpretations.
Familiarity with commercial, residential, and civil construction practices.
Ability to use measurement devices to verify compliance.
Ability to describe observations succinctly via mobile entry.
Willingness to travel within Greater Boston and Eastern MA.

Responsibilities

Travel to construction projects in the Greater Boston/Eastern Massachusetts area.
Review current construction activity and provide safety guidance to project supervisors.
Communicate observations to clients’ employees and supervisors.
Document compliant and non-compliant observations on a mobile device.
Organize work assignments within a 40–50 hour work week, including some shift work and travel.
