Job summary

HazTek Safety Management in Lancaster, PA seeks an experienced Site Safety Manager to support a large-scale construction project in the Watertown, MA area. You will oversee daily safety operations on an active union site and collaborate with project leadership, contractors, and field personnel to ensure compliance with OSHA standards and client requirements.

Qualifications include a minimum of 7 years in construction safety, OSHA 510/500 preferred, CHST or CSP preferred, and strong

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years direct construction safety experience.
• OSHA 510 and/or 500 a plus.
• CHST or CSP preferred.
• Experience on active commercial, industrial, or mission-critical projects.
• Knowledge of electrical safety practices and medium-voltage construction environments.
• Strong communication, leadership and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily safety oversight for ongoing construction activities.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and hazard assessments.
• Monitor contractor compliance with site safety policies and procedures.
• Facilitate safety meetings, toolbox talks, and employee orientations.
• Investigate incidents, near misses and safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate safety documentation and reporting.
• Support project leadership in promoting a strong safety culture.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and client-specific safety requirements.
