Job summary

GTL Construction, based in Stamford, CT, seeks an experienced Project Manager for a full-time, on-site role. You will oversee commercial projects from pre-construction through closeout, developing plans, schedules, and budgets while coordinating with architects, engineers, and clients.

The role requires leading daily meetings, managing RFIs/submittals, tracking progress, and resolving scope, schedule, and quality issues. Emphasis on safety, compliance, and clear stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Strong project management skills including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder coordination.
• Expediting experience to secure timely permits, approvals, and material deliveries.
• Inspection-related skills to coordinate site inspections and ensure code compliance.
• Logistics management to oversee site deliveries and resource allocation for multiple trades.
• Experience in commercial construction (retail, medical, office, hospitality, or multi-residential).
• Strong communication, negotiation, and documentation with diverse teams and clients.
• Proficiency with construction management software and ability to read drawings, specs, and contracts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field, or equivalent PM experience.
• Safety, quality control, and risk management on active job sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee commercial construction projects from pre-construction to closeout.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets; coordinate with architects, engineers, subs, and clients.
• Lead daily site meetings; manage RFIs and submittals; monitor progress and resolve scope/schedule/quality issues.
• Oversee inspections, logistics, material deliveries; maintain site documentation; enforce safety and compliance.
• Foster clear communication among stakeholders and support client satisfaction and quality delivery.
