Job summary

AECOM Hunt is seeking an Assistant Construction Project Manager to join our Cleveland, OH team. You will support the Project Management group on mid-size projects, helping manage costs, schedules, and document control.

The role requires a BA/BS with experience and familiarity with MS Office; previous internship in construction management is preferred. This is an on-site position with standard supervision and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• BA/BS + 2 YORE or AA/AS + 4 YORE or HS/GED + 6 YORE
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Project Management team with management administration on a moderate size and scope project, or a portion of a large size and scope project, following set guidelines for completion of tasks.
• May interface with design team.
• May work closely with BIM team and use modelling software.
• May interact with Superintendents to address project questions/issues. Assists with and monitors change orders
• May assist with regulatory compliance and financial reporting
• Review project costs and scheduling to ensure completion of project within budget and in conformance with contract.
• Work with document control systems, project management systems and other software or databases to keep information flow up-to-date and accurate
• Attend meetings and report on project tasks as needed
• May provide technical direction and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies.
